BW Finals Sunday Results & Photos

Day 2 of the BW Finals Weekend dawned bright and clear which promised well for the rest of the day. There was again some excellent bowling and a number of very close games which could have been won by either player. The BW Men’s Champion of Champions was a very keenly contested game while the BW Greenkeepers Competition was won 21-20 with the final bowl taking the winning shot. The Tourist Trophy was also a very close game which was only won at the very last.

The BWL Top Ten was a very close contest – ending 71 shots each which meant that an extra end was required. Box won the end on the Pairs and Fours so took the title after an exciting game.

In the Four Rink League Westlecot were in a seemingly unassailable position but Holt turned the game around to take the title after being Runners up in 2014.

We must again thank Devizes BC for hosting this weekend – the hospitality provided by all involved – greens, catering, bar – was greatly appreciated by players and spectators alike.

A great weekend for bowls and Bowls Wiltshire – thank you to everyone who played or supported the game we all love.
