On Monday 7th September there was a gathering of various characters from Musical Theatre at Devizes BC. On further investigation it could be seen that all these characters – lions, cats, elves included – were also able to bowl !! They played three games of 7 ends in random teams keeping their individual scores as they went. There were trophies for the three players with the best shot scores –

3rd – Joan Tugwell – Trowbridge Westbourne

2nd – Bronwen Rees – Wroughton

1st –  Angela Roberts – Devizes

BWL President Joyce Little, dressed as a cat – from ‘Cats’ – thanked her home club, Devizes, for hosting the event and presented the trophies to the winners.
